After his father’s death, King George (Michael Gambon) and the scandal of King Edward VIII (Guy Pearce), Bertie (Colin Firth) who are lost communication, is suddenly crowned as to be the king George VI from England. In the condition that country is almost having a war and really needs a leader, his wife, Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter), the queen candidate, asks her husband to go in speech therapy with the eccentric man named Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Started with a feud, the two runs the therapy program and finally shape an inseparable bond. With Logue’s support, the family, government and Winston Churchill (Timothy Spall), the king an handle his problems and create a radio network which inspires all his citizen and even unify them in the war.
